She collected $2,101 at a fundraiser at her Stow church last year, enough to buy measles shots for about 2,626 children in Africa and Asia. Malcolm X Abram: Houseguest's new album welcome
Some random acts of live music: Last time I wrote about Akron indie pop quintet Houseguest, it was shortly before their Downtown at Dusk gig at the Akron Art Museum. Apparently, I made their fan base sound like a roaming band of shirtless drunken ruffians, because I was told that the museum actually hired some extra security to ensure a safe atmosphere. More
